When I see people wearing plaid shirts or glasses I think of them as kind of nerds and when people look at me they probably think he is just a jerky jock or a stupid skater but I'm not, if people really get to know me I'm actually one of the happiest people you will ever know this is called a stereotype. I am currently reading a book about stereotypes called The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
In this book there are two different kinds of stereotypes there are the soc's they are supposed to be the good rich people and then there are the greasers they are supposed to be the poor bad dirty people. These two stereotypes are rivals through out this book. And these stereotypes are nothing like what they think they are I mean the greasers are all good people and don’t hurt anyone unless they have to, and pony boy the main character and a greaser in this book is actually a really smart person. Yet the people still judge him because of what he wears and how he has his hair styled. And the socs are really the bad people because they jump the greasers and hurt them because they think that there the bigger people because there parents care for them and have enough money to buy them pretty much whatever they want. If everyone got to know each other there would be no outsider because everyone is different and in there own mind that’s a good thing. I mean I would hate it if every one was the same and everyone did the same exact thing every day. So I think that stereo types are just a reason for someone to be better than the other and that’s just wrong.
Stereo types arent good and I don’t think that you should judge people by the way they dress walk or speak because you don’t know them until you talk to them but no one really does that. We just see someone and automatically judge them. And this book The Outsider is all about stereo types and many other things witch is why it’s a really good book.

This is an awesome piece!!!I'm kidding it's good though!
